The Christmas season is upon us again (how quickly does it come around) and the staff at A1 Rubber are taking a well-earned break from:

23rd December noon to the 5th January 2015

It has been another hectic, growth year for Australia’s largest rubber upcycler, where we take a useless, waste product – tyre rubber – and upcycle it in to new products, taking approx. 17,000m³ of crumbed tyre rubber every year.

Next year, 2015, marks the 10th anniversary of A1 Rubber’s re-location from humble rural settings to the current location at Yatala, half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

We are pleased to announce that in 2015 we will be expanding further into an adjoining building giving us more space to better service our local, interstate and overseas customers as well as our increasing staff numbers.

A small sample of highlights of the year include:

• Increased staff during the year = More Australians at work
• 24 hour factory shifts to meet our supply deadlines
• Developed and launched a new user friendly website
• Launched the revolutionary Speedlay system and hiring agreements – streamlining and improving wet-pour installations
• Increased our presence within the sports surface industry and New Zealand
• Developed new products especially for the high volume retail industry
• Refined and improved existing products such as Traqua – the wet area surface, CSBR into more vibrant colours, non-porous commercial floor range and “Olympact” – the Gymnasium sound barrier shockpads
• Improved further on our already extensive marketing material

We have big plans with potential opportunities for 2015 and we look forward to sharing them with you.
