Australia’s Most Remote Softfall Project

The harsh Australian environment, particularly in remote regions, makes exceptional workmanship and Australian certified products paramount for the success of any recreational installation. Unfortunately, Rio Tinto’s Yannarie Park playground in Pannawonica Town, Western Australia, recently succumbed to the elements via a sub-par installation, and enlisted the Softfallguys team to revive their park playground.

The Yannarie Park playground required high durability and a seamless surface, and the Softfallguys provided a complete end to end service, involving redesign, removal of the existing surface, thorough base preparation and re-install of a new cushion and wear layer. Using a flecked CSBR blend, the Softfallguys delivered a fantastic new surface to comply with Australian Standards and withstand heavy and harsh traffic from local and visiting play goers 365 days a year.
