Prothane is a high-gloss, aromatic, solvent-curing polyurethane that cures to form an extremely tough, hard-wearing surface with excellent flexibility, and strong abrasion and chemical resistance. Designed primarily for use over A1 Rubber Impact-Tiles, Prothane is supplied ready to apply and is intended for professional or trade installation.

Its primary purpose is to seal Impact-Tile flooring in gymnasiums and fitness centres, enhancing durability and making ongoing maintenance easier. Adequate ventilation is required during curing, which typically takes 25–30 hours.
